Banking System for Corporate Clients
Web Service Streamlining
Bank - Corporate Client Interaction
Goals & Objectives
Initially, business clients had to visit the office for most interactions.

The main goal was to develop an MVP that allowed them to open accounts, make payments, and manage contracts remotely using electronic signatures and online verification tools.
MVP Phase Goals
  • Desctop Only
The MVP stage focused on implementation for desktop devices only.
  • Digital Signature
Integrating digital signature functionality was essential as it was a key business requirement
  • From Account to Contract
It was crucial to provide clients with a complete user journey from start to finish. We chose the path from registration—becoming a bank client—to verifying a government contract with another bank client.
Design Process
Discovery Phase
During this phase, I gathered business requirements to understand what stakeholders truly needed from the product. I explored the key requests from both clients and leadership that led to this initiative being brought to the IT department. Together, we defined what would be implemented in the MVP stage.
Wireframes & Low-Fidelity Prototypes
At this stage, I explored possible solutions to our challenges and built low-fidelity prototypes. I shared them with the business team and corporate client support, gathering feedback to refine the design and ensure the most effective UX-solution.
UI Design & Design System Development
At this stage, low-fidelity prototypes evolved into detailed designs with colors, icons, and other visual elements. The final versions were then approved by business stakeholders.
Development & Design Oversight
This phase ran almost parallel to the UI stage, during which frontend developers implemented visual solutions. I oversaw design quality, ensuring consistency and making adjustments where solutions didn’t function correctly in real conditions.
MVP Presentation
The final and crucial phase was the presentation and internal validation of the MVP within the bank.
Screens and Workspace
I designed the workspace with a 1440x800px screen in mind, allocating 1180x800px for the dashboard to ensure usability on smaller screens.

At this stage, only the margins adapted to different screen sizes. Looking ahead, we plan to enhance the experience for large-screen users by expanding the workspace and making the menu fixed.
To support future scalability and responsiveness, I structured the design around a 12-column grid, providing a solid foundation for adaptable layouts.
Design Hignlights
Here are some interesting solutions I came up with for the project
Sidebar
Pop-ups in the project became too big. So I replaced their side page functionality. They located on the left side of the screen with the same open/close mechanics and scroll.
Collapsable Menu
To save space on small screens, I made a menu collapsableу. Originally, it is always collapsed, but on hover it expands and the user sees a full version.
Digital Signatures
I combined the process of uploading files and signing them with DS. This made it possible to notably simplify the user flow and reduce the screen space required for it.
Released Functionality
At the first step, we have implemented the following functionality of the portal
  • Login and Registration
Full functionality for filing an application for opening a business bank account, checking documents and remote access to the system.
  • User Profile
We created a full-fledged user page with the ability to edit registration data, add and remove access certificates and digital signatures.
  • Mailing with bank Employees
An internal mail service that allows you to correspond with a bank employee, also coordinate and endorse documents directly in the correspondence.
  • Support of the Transaction
The ability to track the status of a payment or application online, as well as immediately contact a bank employee to clarify details.
  • In App business loan application
Functionality for applying for business loans inside the portal.
  • Administration panel for employees
A separate interface for bank employees, in which they can correspond with the client, coordinate documents and view the status of applications and transactions
As A Result
We successfully demoed the system to the customer, after which it was gradually introduced and tested with real users. As of this presentation, the project is in the feedback collection phase, gathering insights from both customers and bank employees to inform the next stage of development.
